I have been working as a freelancer for the last 3 years and I am enjoying it. I worked as a web developer and I also worked as a graphic designer. I worked with national and international clients and earned good money.
I have the freedom to work from home, sometimes I go out and sit in a cafe to work and sometimes I am traveling somewhere while working.

When you are just starting out, it is a bit difficult to decide your rates. Whether you should charge on an hourly basis or you should charge a fixed rate depending on the task.

Find clients
There are so many websites from where you can find clients. You can find work on Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn and you can also use your network to find potential clients.
You can also reach out to your clients directly by just googling them!
I got my first two clients from LinkedIn. These days I prefer to contact clients directly rather than using a platform like Upwork.
Deliver high-quality work
It’s very important to deliver high-quality work to your clients. It will help you build a reputation as a trustworthy freelancer.
You will see getting work from references and maybe eventually you will not have to rely on freelancing websites to find work.
Promote yourself
You have to tell the world that you are working as a freelancer. Let people know what service you are offering using social media, your website, and through networking.
