I decided to paint watercolor evening sky painting for day 29. At first, I was not into what I have painted. The first idea was to paint a sky and its reflection in the water but it didn’t turn out well so I just kept it aside.

I kept it aside and started painting another one but I didn’t want to waste it so I thought about it and decided to paint palm trees and it look beautiful.

Painting the night sky with watercolors is magical. To your surprise, I have never painted a night sky with cactus all around. This was fun to paint. I can’t believe it is already day 27 of 31 days of the mini watercolor painting challenge.

Mountains are a beautiful object to paint in your watercolor landscape painting. Especially when you paint a snowy mountain with a green one, it looks even more beautiful. I used a photo by Eberhard Grossgasteiger on Unsplash as a reference.

In this painting, I think I missed the value of the colors. In the reference picture, everything is very intense but I missed conveying it. Otherwise, I love how this one turned out. In this watercolor landscape painting, I used a different method to paint clouds. Everything together is looking very beautiful.

I love painting the colorful sky with watercolors. As I am writing this, I am thinking I should have documented process videos for all the paintings for you guys. Well, we will do that later. Do you guys like watching painting process videos?

I used a picture Gian Porsius posted on Unsplash for reference. I love painting birds in the sky. It gives a special feeling to the sky. I would say, it gives a happy feeling to the painting. Many people struggle painting the birds, but let me tell you it is easy. If you are struggling with painting birds, DM me or comment me, I will help you.
